Looks like I've got myself into a bit of a pickle again. Still, I also found something fascinating in the process. There are some creatures performing some sort of ritual. I'm not sure of the purpose, so I intend to observe from a distance. Perhaps whatever it is they're doing can be of help in my little predicament.
As odd as it sounds, there seems to be what can only be described as 'nerve endings' growing in the area around the ritual. I of course had to try touching them, and they seem to be safe. I will attempt to investigate some more.
These nerve endings are fascinating! They seem to be infused with rune-like power. Brilliant! Not only that, but they can also be combined: Two minds make soul. Water and mind makes blood. Fire and air makes smoke.
From further trials on the nerves, I've found more combinations: Water and earth makes nature. Soul and nature makes cosmic. I'd hoped to stay longer, but I feel something having an impact on me. Could it be the nerves, or the ritual itself?
I tried to leave, but I'm trapped! My only hope now is to stop the ritual. I just need those final combinations. Cosmic is important, or maybe blood. Not both at the same time though. Combine them with... an elemental nerve? Or is it a combination nerve? I can't properly focus. What's happening to me?
