Resper mushrooms are a scrapped item which was originally intended to be used during the fight with Duke Sucellus. They are picked from resper mushrooms which would presumably be found in the asylum.
They are ground into resper powder, which would have been mixed in the fermentation vat alongside other ingredients to create a variety of poisons to wake the Duke.
