Holos powder is a scrapped item which was originally intended to be used during the fight with Duke Sucellus. They are the result of using a pestle and mortar on a holos mushroom, where six powders are given per mushroom.

They presumably would have been mixed in the fermentation vat, alongside other types of mushroom powder, to create a variety of poisons to wake the Duke.
