The antique lamp is an item obtained from Yanni Salika after completing the One Small Favour quest. Two are given to the player, and each lamp grants 10,000 experience in a skill of the player's choosing, given that the skill is over level 30. The lamp cannot be banked, but either of the two lamps can be reclaimed if dropped, even if the other of the two was used.

Even though the lamp can be dropped instead of being destroyed, and many can be dropped to the ground, extras cannot be obtained with the drop trick, as the player may only hold a maximum of two before using the first lamp, and then a maximum of one until using the second lamp, whereupon no further lamps can be picked back up.

Note: the One Small Favour quest will not really be considered completed, being shown in yellow in the quest log and stopping the player from being able to start King's Ransom and Swan Song, until both antique lamps are used. This happens even if the lamps are dropped in order to be retrieved later from Yanni Salika. Whether this is by design or is a bug is unclear.
