Smelly mushrooms can be found across the Mushroom Forest, located on Fossil Island. The mushrooms are one of the clues found part way into tracking a Herbiboar, and can be inspected to find footprints leading to another clue (This mushroom is oozing where it has recently been bitten. Something has passed this way.). Occasionally when inspecting the mushrooms players may be awarded 50 Hunter experience, as well as a chance at finding either some numulite or an unidentified fossil.
