The rowboat can be found in various locations around Fossil Island as a means to traverse the area. The rowboats on the main island can take players to the north of the island, to the Museum Camp, to the canal barge, to the Digsite, or out to sea on the tiny island with a bank. The rowboat on the bank island can be used to dive into the underwater area.
There is also a fourth rowboat on the west of Fossil Island that players must construct on the rowboat space during Dragon Slayer II which allows them to travel to Lithkren.
Players cannot initially row from the barge out to sea or any of the other locations. These locations need to be unlocked by rowing from (for example) the north of the island to the other locations.
