The mithril defender is a defender made of mithril. It can be obtained by killing cyclopes on the top floor of the Warriors' Guild, but only if you have a black defender in your inventory or if you have shown a black defender to Kamfreena. It is held in the shield slot and requires 20 Attack and Defence to wield.

If the player dies to a PvP death and the mithril defender is not one of the player's protected items, it will remain in the player's inventory, but will become broken, which means the item is unusable and must be repaired with 15,000 coins by using the item on Perdu.
