The mooleta is a melee off-hand dropped by the post-quest version of Brutus. It has no requirements to wield and offers similar bonuses to a steel defender.

The mooleta is the only shield slot item in free-to-play to give a melee strength bonus, as well as stab, slash, and crush attack bonuses.
