Abyssal potatoes are obtained by harvesting the growth just north of the fire in the Scar. Harvesting the potato causes the message You harvest an odd looking object. It kind of looks like a potato. to appear. It provides a +1 Strength boost when eaten, with the message You eat the potato. You feel strangely powerful.
Feeding an abyssal potato to Brutus upgrades the fight to its hard version, Demonic Brutus. Obtaining the potato requires completion of Desert Treasure II; defeating the Leviathan alone is insufficient to obtain the potato. This item cannot be put in sacks.
