The iron defender is a defender made of iron. It is dropped by any of the Cyclops on the top floor of the Warriors' Guild, but only once players have obtained a bronze defender. It is one of the two defenders that does not provide a strength bonus, along with the bronze defender.

If the player dies to a PvP death and the iron defender is not one of the player's protected items, it will remain in the player's inventory, but will become broken, which means the item is unusable and must be repaired with 2,000 coins by using the item on Perdu.
