Animated rune armour is a player-created foe encountered at the Warriors' Guild. To summon one, players must use a rune full helm, a rune platebody and rune platelegs on the magical animator. It is not recommended to farm animated rune for warrior tokens due to its high defensive stats.

Low-levelled players are advised to bring food and wear stab-resistant armour, since this is the highest level animated armour. The player will get all of their rune armour parts back when it is defeated; however, any armour below black will have a chance to lose pieces.

Like all other animated armour variants, it is immune to Ranged and Magic attacks. As a result of being immune to Ranged damage, the armour is effectively immune to burn, which will be inflicted but reduced to 0 damage. It is also immune to poison and venom.
