Ground ashes are obtained by using ashes on a pestle and mortar. These are used in the Warriors' Guild in the shot put room to improve the distance of a thrown shot put slightly.

Generally, using this item to gain this slight advantage is not recommended, since the additional time spent running back and forth to the bank in order to re-stock on ashes would be better spent putting more shots. Energy-restoring items such as energy potions are a much more efficient use of inventory space than these ashes.
