Animated black armour is a player-created foe encountered at the Warriors' Guild. To summon one, players must use a black platebody, black platelegs, and a black full helm on the magical animator. It is the best animated armour to kill for warrior tokens, as it is the quickest to kill while also having no chance of losing any of the armour pieces.

A full set of black armour to animate can be easily and cheaply obtained by purchasing a black full helm from Valaine's Shop of Champions, a black platebody from Horvik's Armour Shop, and black platelegs from Louie's Armoured Legs Bazaar.

Like all other animated armour variants, it is immune to Ranged and Magic attacks. As a result of being immune to Ranged damage, the armour is effectively immune to burn, which will be inflicted but reduced to 0 damage. It is also immune to poison and venom.
