Gull is a pet that can be obtained from defeating the Shellbane Gryphon.
When a player receives the pet, it will automatically try to appear as their follower. At the same time, a message in the chatbox will state You have a funny feeling like you're being followed. However, if a player receives a pet while having a follower out (for example, a cat), it will be placed into their inventory. When this occurs, the message in the chatbox will instead state You feel something weird sneaking into your backpack.
If a player's inventory is full and they have a follower already, they will not receive the pet; it must instead be claimed from Probita in East Ardougne.
On death, if a player loses their pet (as a follower or in your inventory) it will wander around the area for 30 seconds before despawning. Even if the player returns in time, the pet cannot be picked up, and can be reclaimed from Probita.
Using 50 raw or cooked fish on Gull will unlock the ability for players to right click "Metamorph" to change between Gull and Gulliver, with a one-time unique instance of Gull transforming into Gulliver. Raw karambwanji are a fast way to do this, as they are quick to obtain and are stackable. The player can continue feeding it fish if they desire, although this has no further effect.

Emotes
Unlike most pets, Gull has an "Emote" option.
There is a short cooldown of several seconds between emotes. If players attempt to have Gull perform an emote again too soon, a game message will state You must wait a moment before your pet can do another emote.

Trivia
- The name Gulliver may be a reference to the book Gulliver's Travels. It may also be a reference to the non-player character Gulliver from the Animal Crossing video game series, although both could be a reference to the previously mentioned book.
- The examine text for Gulliver is the same as Yami.
- The art by Mod Jerv is a reference to viral images of a newborn baby pygmy falcon posted by the San Antonio Zoo.[1][2]
- Gull had a festive override wearing the festive games crown during the 2025 Christmas event, with Gulliver wearing a Santa hat instead.
- Gull and Gulliver both use routefinding, which allows them to path around obstacles to the player.
