Equipable tool

Several tools that are normally used from the inventory have an equipable variant. Typically, these can be obtained by participating in activities related to the skill the tool is used in. This page only lists tools that are not normally equipable.

The following items are completely equivalent to the base tool, except being equipable:

• Imcando hammer, equivalent to a hammer
• Amy's saw, equivalent to a saw
• Aerial fishing rods:
  • Pearl fishing rod and its oily variant, equivalent to an (oily) fishing rod
  • Pearl fly fishing rod, equivalent to a Fly fishing rod
  • Pearl barbarian rod, equivalent to a Barbarian rod
• Barb-tail harpoon, equivalent to a harpoon
• Hunter's spear, equivalent to a teasing stick

The following items, while equipable, have slightly different uses than their base tool:

• Fletching knife, equivalent to a knife, but slightly faster when fletching multiple items
• Bruma torch can only be used instead of a tinderbox within Wintertodt
• Magic secateurs can be used anywhere Secateurs can be used, but also boost the yield of several types of crop
