Alchemical hydra heads are a rare drop from the Alchemical Hydra. They can be stuffed at the taxidermist in Canifis by using the item on her and paying 50,000 coins, returning stuffed hydra heads. When shown the heads, she will say, "This hydra looks like it might fall to pieces soon. I'll have to be careful to preserve it properly."

Once stuffed, Alchemical hydra heads can be mounted at a gilded display within the skill hall in a player-owned house, granting 223 Construction alongside 200 Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, and Ranged experience, although players are given the option to decline the combat experience. Alternatively, the heads can be sacrificed to the Dark Altar north of Arceuus, granting 2,500 Prayer experience.

Lastly, the heads can be combined with a slayer helmet (or imbued) to create a hydra slayer helmet; doing so requires purchasing the ability Use More Head for 1,000 Slayer reward points.
