A basilisk head is a rare drop from basilisks and basilisk knights, requiring 40 and 60 Slayer to kill respectively. It can be stuffed at the Taxidermist in Canifis by using the item on her and paying 4,000 coins, returning a stuffed basilisk head. When players take it to her, she will tell players "My, he's a scary-looking fellow, isn't it? He'll look good on your wall!"

Once stuffed, it can be mounted at a teak, mahogany, or gilded display within the skill hall in a player-owned house, granting 63 Construction and 343 Slayer experience.

The head can alternatively be sacrificed to the Dark Altar north of Arceuus, granting 2,500 Prayer experience.
