The Mountain Guide is found with the Varrock Museum expedition on Mount Quidamortem, along with the Natural Historian, Historian Duffy, and Gnosi. He is able to take players back and forth between Mount Quidamortem, Shayziens' Wall, and south of Mount Quidamortem.

When players reach the summit, find the Mountain Guide and speak with him to unlock a travel point between the mountain, the Wall, and south of Quidamortem. This will save a considerable amount of time and avoids monsters on the way to the mountain.

To quickly reach the top, use a Games necklace to travel to the Wintertodt camp, use the Lovakengj Minecart Network to travel to Mount Quidamortem, and run east. Once unlocked, you can quickly reach the Mountain Guide in numerous ways.

• Use the Xeric's talisman to teleport to Xeric's Honour (if unlocked using the ancient tablet), and walk east
• Use fairy ring code BLS and run south-west
• Use Book of the dead's teleport option, History and hearsay, then run south-west
• Use Ring of shadows' teleport option, The Stranglewood, run to the rowboat on the north-east of the forest, take it, and run east
