The creature keeper is a caretaker who is found dead in the Chambers of Xeric, having accompanied Xeric and his group to Mount Quidamortem. Originally tasked with raising and tending to animals, the creature keeper domesticated a scavenger beast to make a trained attack beast. While sending it out to fight some Lizardman shamans, he was spotted and poisoned by them, leading to his death. As a result, Xeric's associates were forced to hire a houndmaster to help raise animals for Xeric's experiments.
