Cave snakes are found in resource rooms within the Chambers of Xeric. They can appear in fishing spots and attack the player and anyone adjacent to it.
If players have fish in their inventory, it may steal them along as well. When this occurs, a message will appear in the chatbox stating: The snake stole some food off you!
