Small storage units can be built in resource rooms within the Chambers of Xeric. It allows players to store 250 items that are found only within the Chambers, and 30 of the player's personal items. It requires owning a Player-owned house and having a Construction level of 30 in order to build.
It is built by using two Mallignum root planks and a hammer or dragon warhammer. It can be upgraded for the duration of the raid into a Medium storage unit by adding two extra planks, a Large storage unit with four, and a Massive storage unit with six, requiring 60, 90 and 99 Construction respectively.
Note: Players who leave the Chambers with their personal items still stored in the storage units can retrieve them from the private storage unit next to the bank chest on the Mountain. The private storage unit must be emptied before players re-enter the Chambers of Xeric.
