Troughs can be found within the Thieving room during the Chambers of Xeric. Players must fill the trough with cavern grubs obtained from the chests located in the room in order to feed the corrupted scavenger. Once a player places some grubs in the trough, the scavenger will begin to feed on them until they are full. When full, the scavenger will fall asleep on the hay, clearing the path to the next room.
The number of grubs required to fill the scavenger scales linearly based on the total Thieving level of players participating in the raid. However, the minimum number of grubs required to complete the room is equal to 16 times the number of players in the raid, or 30 in a solo raid.
