Dexterous prayer scrolls are a possible reward from the Chambers of Xeric. Reading it allows the player to unlock Rigour, which requires 70 Defence and 74 Prayer. There are no skill requirements to read the scroll, but reading it will consume it.

  • The dexterous prayer scroll was made separate from the arcane prayer scroll that would unlock Augury, so that the cost of Augury would not be tied to the much higher cost to unlock Rigour. Both scrolls were also made twice as common, and all existing prayer scrolls (not torn) were converted into dexterous prayer scrolls.
  • The item was renamed from 'Prayer scroll' to 'Dextrous prayer scroll'.

The prayer scroll was split to exclude Preserve (now unlocked via torn prayer scroll) so that the cost to unlock the Preserve prayer would not be tied to the much higher cost to unlock the other two prayers.
