Snake weed is a herb found by searching a marshy jungle vine, twenty of which can be found south-west of Tai Bwo Wannai, on the coast of western Karamja. It is also dropped in grimy form by jogres and tribesmen. It can be used as a secondary ingredient in Herblore to make relicym's balm or Sanfew serum. It is not possible to store it in a reagent pouch.

Snake weed is first encountered during the Jungle Potion quest, but is also used during Zogre Flesh Eaters as well as Legends' Quest; therefore it may be wise to take extras during Jungle Potion.

The fastest way to reach the marshy jungle vines is teleporting with the Fairy Ring code CKR and running west. The average time it takes to harvest a single snake weed decreases with higher Herblore levels: at level 1 you have a 4% chance per roll, and at level 99 you have an 86% chance.[1]

Although snake weed is untradeable, it is an ingredient to make the tradeable Sanfew serum; therefore, it has a theoretical value of 7,406 coins when buying the tradeable ingredients and selling the resulting Sanfew serum.
