Ungadulu is a shaman who is possessed by Nezikchened during the Legends' Quest. During the quest, players must obtain the book of binding and use it to free him so he can help with growing a new Yommi tree by providing Yommi tree seeds.

When using the book of binding on him, the demon Nezikchened will emerge from his body and attack the player. If Ungadulu was soaked with holy water prior to forcing out Nezikchened, the demon will be affected by holy water, starting the fight weakened.

After freeing him by defeating Nezikchened for the first time, he will provide the player with Yommi tree seeds, and can advise the player about what to do in the Viyeldi caves after meeting Viyeldi and Echned Zekin. If the player chooses to bring the dark dagger to Ungadulu instead of using it to kill Viyeldi, he will provide the player with the holy force spell, which can be used to reveal and attack Echned Zekin's true self - Nezikchened.

The Yommi tree seeds and holy force spell can no longer be obtained from him after the quest. Talking to him after the quest will result in him revealing that his ancestors created the gilded totem long ago.^[1]

• Attempting to attack him after freeing him from his possession will result in him knocking you out of the fire wall with a spell.
• Although he is not meant to be killed, it is possible to do so by manually casting combat spells on him, as well as by using Dynamite(p).
