Camping the King is a master combat achievement which requires the player to kill the Maggot King 12 times without leaving the arena.
Strategy
A magic/melee hybrid setup is highly recommended for this achievement, as magic kills are faster than ranged kills on average while incurring significantly less damage. Players can prepot before entering an instance with super combat, overheal with anglerfish and drinking a dose of antipoison. Extended anti-venom+ will allow for up to 17.7 minutes of poison immunity, assuming that no poisonous bile is stepped on. 2-3 Sanfew serums should suffice for subsequent poison protection. As these also restore prayer similarly to that of super restores, try to avoid wasting these and only drink them when the potion can restore as much prayer as possible.
When playing as perfect as possible, the player will mostly be limited by prayer restoration. It is recommended to bring an amulet of blood fury to heal from any mistakes or chip damage incurred from carrion piles. The first kill should have 1-2 pieces of food on hand for emergencies.
With the supplies shown below, the player should have more than enough potions to last 12 kills, with an average of ~2:30-2:45 per kill. The boss frequently has a supply drop of 1 Dull ancient medal and 2-4 Stymphike tartares. The dull medal will restore prayer to full over a short period of time and usually equates to one additional kill, while the food is welcome in the event of additional mistakes in subsequent kills.
