Skeleton warlords can be found in the Ancient Cavern, which is accessible from the Baxtorian Falls after progressing the firemaking section of Barbarian Training.
Due to their aggressive nature, they are generally considered a nuisance by players looking to kill other monsters in the area, such as waterfiends or mithril dragons. Players with a Saradomin godsword may find it helpful to use its special attack on the warlords to heal while killing waterfiends, however, due to the fiends' high slash defence.
Like other undead, they are susceptible to the effects of the salve amulet and its variants, as well as the Crumble Undead spell.
