Lvl-5 Enchant is a utility spell in the standard spellbook, requiring level 68 Magic to cast. The spell enchants dragonstone jewellery, granting 78 Magic experience when doing so.

This spell can be transferred to a magic tablet by bringing the required runes and a piece of soft clay to a lectern in the study of a player-owned house, granting 58.5 Magic experience.

Like other jewellery enchantment spells, Lvl-5 Enchant will automatically re-cast every 7 ticks (4.2 seconds). While less click-intensive, it is much slower than enchanting each piece of jewellery individually. An inventory of 27 pieces of jewellery would take about one minute and fifty seconds to enchant at this rate.

When cast actively, a player could theoretically achieve 2,000 casts per hour for a total of 156,000 experience. When cast passively only 857 casts can be achieved, worth 66,846 experience. In practice, both of these numbers will be slightly lower due to time spent banking.

In order to cast this spell without consuming any elemental runes, players may use a mud battlestaff, or an earth staff together with a tome of water that is charged with at least one soaked page, or a water staff together with a tome of earth that is charged with at least one soiled page. Given that only combat spells drain charges from the tomes, the staff + tome combo will provide unlimited water and earth runes without the need for recharging the tome.
