Wind Blast is an air-based blast spell in the standard spellbook, requiring level 41 Magic to cast. As an offensive combat spell it can only be cast on attackable NPCs, or other players in a PvP situation.

It is the strongest wind spell available to free-to-play players, as well as the most cost-effective blast spell to cast.

Wind Blast's base maximum hit starts at 13 and increases as the player unlocks additional blast spells, up to 16 at level 59 Magic.

As with all combat spells, Wind Blast's maximum hit is also increased based on the player's magic damage bonus.

As an air-based spell, Wind Blast's maximum hit is also increased against targets that are weak to air.

• Wind Blast is the most cost-effective blast spell, since it deals the same amount of damage as the other blast spells while requiring the least amount of runes. Therefore, it is generally preferred over the other blast spells unless the player is fighting a monster with a specific elemental weakness.
• During the Family Crest quest, the player must deal damage to the demon Chronozon with Wind Blast (along with each of the other three blast spells) at least once in order to defeat it.
