Fire Blast is a fire-based blast spell in the standard spellbook, requiring level 59 Magic to cast. As an offensive combat spell it can only be cast on attackable NPCs, or other players in a PvP situation.

It is the strongest fire spell available to free-to-play players.

Damage

Fire Blast has a base maximum hit of 16. As with all combat spells, Fire Blast's maximum hit is increased based on the player's magic damage bonus.

As a fire-based spell, Fire Blast's maximum hit is also increased against targets that are weak to fire.

Maximum hit

While wearing gear with high magic damage bonus, Fire Blast's maximum hit can be increased up to 24. Wearing a slayer helm (i) while on a Slayer task can further increase the maximum hit to 26.

Notable uses

During the Family Crest quest, the player must deal damage to the demon Chronozon with Fire Blast (along with each of the other three blast spells) at least once in order to defeat it.
