The gale catcher schematic is a lost schematic that must be read in order to unlock the ability to build a gale catcher for a boat.

The schematic is obtained by using a small key to open the lockbox on Anglers' Retreat.

The key can be obtained by digging at the location on the Onyx Crest. Without the key, the player will instead obtain a set of lockbox directions hinting at the key's location.

Because of its location, the schematic requires a Sailing level of 51 to obtain and cannot be boosted.
