The lockbox is a locked chest found on Lledrith Island, which requires level 66 Sailing to dock at. However, the small key needed to open is is found on Ynysdail, which requires level 73 Sailing to dock at.
Attempting to open it without the corresponding small key will give the player a set of directions instead, giving players a hint to the location of the small key needed to unlock the lockbox: On Ynysdail, dig where you dock, then figure out a safer place to bury the key.
The small key can be obtained even if the player never obtained the lockbox directions; upon opening the lockbox with the small key, players are given the dragon salvaging hook schematic.
