"Did you know?" are a series of game facts that are displayed in the chat interface upon login. The feature is enabled for all accounts by default. It can be toggled off in the settings. Its chat message colours can also be adjusted there.
They were added on 23 April 2025 in the Poll 84: Misc Mayhem update. More facts are intended to be added at a later date.[1]
List
There are currently 42 facts in the game. Some facts take into account whether the player is on the mobile client and are changed accordingly.

| You can buy basic farming gear, including plant cure, by talking to farmers near farming patches. |
| You can use the Humidify Lunar spell to water all of your saplings at once. |
| You can buy a bolt pouch from Hirko in Keldagrim that lets you carry up to 5 different bolt types at once, including a mithril grapple. |
| You can decant potions into any number of doses by taking them to Bob Barter at the Grand Exchange or Zahur in Nardah. |
| You can enter the Kalphite Lair from the caves south of Dorgesh-Kaan. Bring a light source! |
| You can note produce by using it on the Tool Leprechaun. |

| Kebabs are one of the items you can use on a compost bin to make regular compost. |

| If you find entering buildings tricky because the roof is in the way, you can hide roofs at all time by toggling the hide roofs setting in the Settings menu. |

| You can invite friends onto your boat and even allow them to navigate it for you. Set a friend as a navigator by using the Sailing sidepanel, or by using your Captain's log on them. |
| As well as selling you new boats and helping you customize them, shipwrights can also help you recover a lost boat or destroy a boat you no longer need. |
| Boats can be stored in boat bottles, letting you carry them from one port to another. |
| Boat repair kits can be used to fix up a damaged boat. You can make boat repair kits at a shipwrights' workbench, which are found near all shipwrights. |

Hotfix
Corrected a fact that incorrectly stated you could eat a cooked karambwan, potion, and another piece of food in the same tick if done in that order. This remains incorrect on the mobile client. |
Trivia
- The feature's initial release included a fact about a
::hop [world]chat command that would let players change worlds via the chat interface. The command is only usable by Jagex Moderators or via either of the officially approved third-party Game clients using the "World Hopper" plugin. The fact was removed the next week.
