The Spirit Anglers are a group of fishermen and women mainly from Al Kharid fighting against the sea spirit Tempoross.

Following an incident of the fishing boat The Desert Trout, which was attacked and sunk by Tempoross, the crewmembers washed ashore near Al Kharid, where they reported the event to Chancellor Hassan, who called upon help from more fishers and founded the Spirit Anglers.

The Spirit Anglers set up camp at the Ruins of Unkah on the west coast of the Kharidian Desert. Under leadership of Captain Pudi and Captain Dudi, they frequently sail to Tempoross Cove off the coast of Karamja to subdue Tempoross, thus making the Ardent Ocean safer.
