Scions are matured spawns during the fight with the Abyssal Sire. The spawn matures into a scion if it is not killed within 12 seconds. Scions boast more health, accuracy, and damage.

Like the Abyssal Sire, scions can hit through protection prayers. Similarly to snakelings, scions will automatically die when the Sire is killed, or if they are unable to attack the player for more than 30 seconds.

Despite visually resembling abyssal demons they do not count towards Slayer task completion or Slayer log score for Abyssal Demons.
