Four eyes are found in the Abyssal Nexus, with one eye corresponding to its respective lair. Using the "Peek" option will tell the player how many players are present in the chamber, and additionally how long it has been since the last player was there. After reaching an unknown time threshold, it will tell the player that the room has "been empty for some time".

• The eye's examine text is a reference to an iconic quote by philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, which can be translated as "He who fights with monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.".
