Mezpah Arkan | OSRS Index

Mezpah Arkan was the first ruler of the Arkan Dynasty, taking the place of Imafore Tullus roughly 100 years ago.^[1] His descendants have held the throne ever since, including the current Sun Queen, Zyanyi Arkan, and her son Prince Itzla. The Arkan family name originates from the Talkasti nomads, one of two groups who came together to form the modern Kingdom of Varlamore, along with the Pericans.^[2]

One of his acts as emperor was a decree that all statues of Imafore must be beheaded, but not removed, to remain as symbols of his betrayal.^[3] This law remains in effect in modern-day Fortis.

According to the old letter, his father's name was Tertius, and his mother's name was Papan. The old letter also reveals that Mezpah and Imafore were tutored together, and that Imafore broke Mezpah's arm in a fit of rage.
