Bookcases can be found within the secret Paterdomus Temple Library, located underneath the Temple's mausoleum. Access to the library is gained during the In Aid of the Myreque quest, after players unlock the trapdoor in the mausoleum.

During the quest, players must obtain a book named The sleeping seven from the searchable bookcase in the centre-left shelving block that is facing west. The other searchable bookcase is found second from the left on the southern wall, and contains the books Histories of the Hallowland and Modern day morytania. The other bookshelves in the library are not searchable.

During The Blood Moon Rises, a third book case, directly south of the exit ladder, becomes searchable and contains a Squire's journal and Ivandis' writings.
