The sealed vase is a quest item used in The Fremennik Trials quest. It is made during Peer the Seer's part of the quest by filling a vase (found while searching upstairs in his house) with water and then adding the vase lid, which is also obtained during the Peer the Seer section of the quest. The vase should then be frozen so that it smashes and drops a frozen key.
