The old red disk is a quest item used in The Fremennik Trials quest. It is found during Peer the Seer's part of the quest while searching upstairs in his house. It is found by studying the mounted unicorn head. The disk is used on an abstract mural downstairs in his house in order to obtain a vase lid needed to complete Peer's challenge.

• Before the addition of the old red disk in a hidden update, players would receive a second Red disk when studying the mounted unicorn head.
