Rosemary (plant)

Rosemary can be planted in a flower patch at level 11 Farming to yield rosemary, which is used to make imp repellent. When fully grown, it protects cabbages from disease.

A nearby gardener will not watch over flower crops. It is recommended to use compost when planting them.

Rosemary gives 12 XP when planted and 66.5 XP when harvested. It takes 20 minutes to grow. Diseased rosemary may be restored with plant cure or the Lunar spell Cure Plant.

A woody evergreen with needle-like leaves. The name rosemary derives from old Sardominist texts where it is known as Rosmarinus. This roughly translates to sea-dew, likely due to the fact that rosemary thrives by the sea. Rosemary requires very little water it can withstand droughts for very lengthy periods. The leaves are often used to flavour foods, particularly meats. Rosemary sprigs are regularly used as a symbol of remembrance and are often thrown into the graves of fallen warriors.
