Holos mushrooms are scrapped scenery originally intended to appear inside the asylum of Ghorrock Prison, where Duke Sucellus slumbers. Picking them would give players a holos mushroom, which could be ground into holos powder that is used to brew poisons that weaken Duke Sucellus.
