The vine is an Agility shortcut that allows the player to access the Kharazi Jungle from just east of Shilo Village, near the jogres, without having to spend time hacking through the dense jungle south of the village. The player can also use the same shortcut to return to Shilo Village.
However, this requires the completion of Legends' Quest, as well as 79 Agility. Before completion of the quest, the vine is blighted and cannot be climbed.
