Rocking chairs are common decorative scenery found in many locations across Gielinor. The rocking chair's design is very similar to the common chair but with two curved bands affixed to the bottom, enabling would-be occupants to rock back and forth. Rocking chairs on Fred's farm and in the Farming Guild have solid backs, but the rest do not.

Some rocking chairs are purely decorative and cannot be examined; none can be interacted with.

• Iffie sits in a rocking chair, though in the 2021 Halloween event she vacates it leaving behind an empty rocking chair.
• Based on its name pest_rune_rocking_chair and placement in the game's cache files, the unused variant was likely intended to be placed in the Void Knight Magic Store. Instead, a stool sits in the corner of the shop.
