Deadman Supply Chests would spawn during the permadeath stage of Deadman Seasonals containing equipment for a single player.

Before falling from the sky, pushing players out of the way, a beam of light appears at the preselected spot one would fall. Within 2 minutes, the beam turns red.

Additionally, the loot for the current and next chest to fall was broadcast in chat as each chest fell.

8 March 2018
(Update)
  • The location of the Supply chests has changed
  • The items are the same as in the last tournament, but the ordering is different
4 December 2017
(Update)
  • Supply chests: The chests will appear each time the fog advances. We will announce the location of these chests in two different stages: the first notification of the location will remain vague (e.g. Falador), whilst the second notification will be specific (e.g. Falador Party Room). We intend for these chests to encourage fights throughout the entire duration of the Permadeath stage, and also to offer a modest advantage for those courageous enough to attempt to loot them. Contained within each chest will be one of the following: an XP lamp which will level any skill to 99, a Bandos chestplate and Tassets, an Armadyl chestplate and chainskirt, a Dinh's bulwark, an Infernal cape and an Amulet of fury, and lastly an Elder maul.

Trivia

  • The livestreams for the Deadman Finals put a sound effect for the chests falling despite the fact no such sound existed in-game.
  • In the announcement post for the Deadman Winter Finals 2017, it was stated overloads and "lamps which will increase combat skills" (later described as lamps for any skill to 99) would be included in the chests, but they were implemented only with equipment loot.
