Zemouregal

Zemouregal is a powerful Zamorakian Mahjarrat necromancer. He is infamous for his attempts to invade the city of Varrock and his battle with the hero Arrav, as told in the The Legend of Arrav lore story.

He is helped by his second-in-command Sharathteerk and the undead slave of the ancient hero Arrav. The Mahjarrat Lucien is his cousin.

During the Second Age, he was part of the group who supported Zamorak's successful attempt to overthrow Zaros and ascend to godhood.

In the Fourth Age, he invaded the city of Avarrocka with an army of zombies in an attempt to claim a powerful shield forged by the Imcando dwarves. His army was defeated by the great hero Arrav, and the son of one of the city's elders with the help of the shield, albeit the cost of Arrav's life. Zemouregal subsequently retreated, taking an undead Arrav with him.

During the events of the quest Defender of Varrock, Zemouregal once again attempts to invade Varrock with an army of zombies, but he is stopped by Dimintheis Fitzharmon wielding the shield of Arrav.

• Zemouregal appeared in Deadman: Annihilation as a breach monster, wielding the Staff of Armadyl. He would also summon Zemouregal Summons.
