Elias White is an explorer found in the Jolly Boar Inn north-east of Varrock. He is involved in the quest Defender of Varrock, where the player helps him investigate a claim of zombies forming ranks, and The Curse of Arrav, where he and the player investigate Mahjarrat activity in the north.

After completing Defender of Varrock but before completing The Curse of Arrav, he can be found at a campsite just south of Cassim's house in the Uzer Oasis.

• Elias White is an anagram of Wahisietel, a Zarosian Mahjarrat mentioned in Tullia's letter and the Mahjarrat notes. His examine text is also a nod to Ali the Wise, Wahisietel's alias in RuneScape 3.
• In his dialogue he mentions that he "was an adventurer like you!" To which the player replies by asking: "What happened? Some sort of life-changing injury?" This is a reference to the line "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee", which is said by guards in the game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
• Before the quest Defender of Varrock was released, he was found in the Uzer Oasis within the Kharidian Desert, because he was planning to investigate the Uzer Mastaba found on the plateau south of the Uzer Oasis, to which the player offers but is told that he required more preparatory work. When Defender of Varrock was released, he was moved to his current location, but will reference that conversation if players spoke to him prior to the quest's release.
  • Elias returns to his original location upon the quest's completion, and upon starting The Curse of Arrav, will also reference that conversation.
