A seeking arrow shaft is used in Fletching to make seeking arrows. Seeking arrow shafts can be cut from different types of sap-treated logs by using a knife on them, each tier yielding 5 additional Fletching experience per set of 15 arrow shafts, with better types of logs yielding greater quantities of shafts.

A set of 15 feathers can be attached to sets of 15 arrow shafts, yielding 15 experience and 15 seeking headless arrows. Arrowtips are then attached to the seeking headless arrows to create seeking arrows; they can also be used on fully made arrows to "upgrade" them.
