Gnomes are a race of small humanoids found in various parts of Gielinor. They can be found primarily in the Kandarin region, being most common in the Tree Gnome Village, Tree Gnome Stronghold, and Battlefield of Khazard. Gnomes fight with primarily either ranged or melee attacks, depending on the weapon they wield. They have different coloured hoods.

Gnomes can be pickpocketed at level 75 Thieving yielding 133.3 Thieving experience. It is a good source of medium clue scrolls, but keep in mind that you will not receive a clue from pickpocketing an NPC if your inventory is full, and you have not completed X Marks the Spot. If you have completed X Marks the Spot and obtained at least one scroll box in your inventory, then you will continue to obtain more to your stack without emptying your inventory of other loot. Pickpocketing gnomes can also be very convenient for those doing Gnome Restaurant, so you do not need to leave to get more king worms or toad legs.
