Blue dragon scales are an indirect secondary ingredient in Herblore that is ground with a pestle and mortar to create dragon scale dust, which can then be used to make antifire potions and weapon poison. Scales can be found on the ground by the blue dragons in Taverley Dungeon, Corsair Cove Dungeon, part of the Myths' Guild, in the Isle of Souls Dungeon, and in the Ruins of Tapoyauik. They can also be obtained as an uncommon drop from brutal blue dragons located within the Catacombs of Kourend. All variants of blue dragons also have a chance to drop scaly blue dragonhide, which can be cut with a knife to get 50 blue dragon scales.
